William Flitter: Flitter has been an entrepreneur since 1996. He has started and helped build numerous early stage companies which have and are developing hundreds of innovate products and services. Flitter has helped Fastlane Ventures to become a premier niche venture capital firm. Flitter brings over 10 years of consumer marketing expertise to Fastlane Ventures.
Flitter founded BTE Direct/Email Shopping Network from his “garage” right at the time the dot com craze ended. His perseverance was rewarded when Email Shopping Network was acquired by eUniverse (Nasdaq: EUNI) in 2002. Since then, he is on the Board of Directors of four companies, most recently joining Pheedo.
Flitter is the chairperson for the Content and Knowledge Management special interest group of the East Bay IT Group (eBIG.org). He writes on the future of online marketing at MetaMarketing and makes numerous speaking appearances on blogging, RSS and the future of marketing.
Raised in Wisconsin, Flitter graduated with a degree in Advertising from the University of WI. He founded the Interactive Advertising scholarship to reward outstanding excellence in the field of advertising.
